Historical Property Overview

Eastern Ontario is the oldest and most important mining district in Canada. Sudbury, located 90 km to the west, has been one of the world's most important nickel producers since the 19th century. The Cobalt silver camp is the oldest mining camp in Canada. The Temagami North and Cobalt South properties are within the camp, and Temagami East Property is roughly 30 km to the south. The Sherman, Copperfields, and Kanichee mines near Temagami, 11 km west of the Temagami East Property boundary, have produced iron, nickel and copper, respectively, in the past.
